(Courtesy: TOI) Khushwant Singh...one of the famous writers in his story "The Portrait of a Lady"...described his grandmom as a nature lover and animal and bird lover..... She always fed sparrows pieces of bread...in the afternoon....the sparrows would gather in the afternoon..around her! But the day she died....the sparrows..came and waited.....bread pieces were offered but they flew away.....without eating them! Such a beautiful bond betn Birds and Humans...☺☺
