The Abyss

A dark spiralling hole. Down, down, down I fall. Until... I stop. I hit the ground. "Follow the rules of the abyss, you'll make it out alive." Don't speak. Don't question. Don't scream. Don't cry. Don't move. Be absolutely still, completely quiet, show no emotion... I sit, and I wait, and wait, and wait... My soul is gone. My body an empty shell. I'm alive... but I'm no longer living.
