A Very Cold New Year's Eve

Blowing snow and a setting sun made for cold start to New Year's Eve. In south Ottawa, near the corner of Mitch Owen and Albion roads. Just getting out of the car. If we'd been a moment earlier there would have been a nice pink hue instead of orange. As it was, it only lasted a few more minutes before it disappeared in the low clouds and then darkness. A good night to spend indoors with plenty of cheer and good food.
