The common myna, sometimes spelled mynah, also sometimes known as "Indian myna", is a member of the family Sturnidae native to Asia. Scientific name: Acridotheres tristis Mass: Female: 120 – 140 g (Adult), Male: 110 g (Adult) Did you know: The common myna is readily identified by the brown body, black hooded head and the bare yellow patch behind the eye.
