The unveiling of the official mascot characters for the Olympic Games to be held in Tokyo 2020. On the left: Navy blue Miraitowa, mascot for the Olympic Games. 'Mirai' means the future. On the right: Deep pink Someity, mascot for the Paralympic Games. 'Somei' is in reference to somei yoshino, the widespread light pink variety of sakura cherry blossoms.
