The angel oak

The tree is found in Angel Oak Park on Johns Island near Charleston, South Carolina. It seems that the oak is 400-500 years old, is 20 meters high, is 8.5 meters in circumference and produces a shade that covers 1,600 square meters. The longest branch is about 55 meters.
