Jetty

This jetty is on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. Just west of the OXO Tower development. It's a shame that the figure at the end of the jetty isn't visible against the trees on the north side of the river. I love stealing shots like this with the minimum of fuss. I composed the shot in my mind but in the end just lay the camera down on its side and squeezed off just this one shot. I needed to rotate the image by 0.67 degrees to get the perspective just right, but it was pretty cool using the Really Right Stuff L-bracket for my D3 as a ground support...
