Fowler Beach At Prime Hook, De

This beach sits along the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge near Milton, DE. The Fowler Beach Rd used to access this Delaware Bay beach is slowly being washed away by tidal waters. Tropical Storm Sandy had washed away protective dikes and the road has been closed to vehicle access ever since. You can still walk the short distance down to the shore but if you aren't paying attention to the tides you could find yourself wading back to your vehicle.
