Ornate Deya

Divali is a Hindu festival which celebrates the triumph of good over evil, represented by light over darkness. The Deya is a clay vessel fired with oil with a wick placed in it. These are lit by the hundreds dispelling the evil darkness that surrounds us during this festival.
