❇️ Dolmen del Mellizo, Cáceres (Spain) The dolmen del Mellizo is located in the municipality of Valencia de Alcántara, in the province of Cáceres and is part of the archaeological site of the Dolmens of Valencia de Alcántara, declared of cultural interest in 1992. It is one of the few dolmens of Extremadura whose chamber is still covered by a horizontal that rests on it. The megalith is dated to the millennia IV or III BC with a diameter of about 3 m x 3.6 m and a height of about 2.5 m.
