Fire Peak

Buachaille Etive Mhor - The Great Shepherd of the Glens, West Highlands, Scotland, sits as the guardian to the entrance of Glencoe and Glen Etive. A 4 o'clock morning rise and the drive north to arrive at 7 o'clock was worth it for the spectacular sight of the sun hitting the mountain peak reflected in the river. Most of the river was frozen with the temperature at minus 6. Apart from some cropping very little was done to the photo which, I hope, speaks for itself.
