On 17 December 2007, Michael Whitty, an official world record adjudicator forGuinness World Record, travelled toAhmedabad, India to present a new world record to Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, for the Akshardham complex.
