Maybe it’s the Bangladeshi in me, or maybe it’s the newfound sense of style and polite bravado that Canadians seem to have embraced, but people in Toronto seem finally to have ended their fascination with the idea of striving to be world-class. We don’t seem to worry so much what others think anymore – and that’s the sign of a truly world-class city.
