BR 250("Blue Tiger")
The BR 250 006 on an abandoned track in Bernsdorf, Germany. This diesel-electric unit was built 2003/2004 by Bombardier Transportation and GE. It has a 12 cylinder diesel engine that produces 2460kW of power. Usually these engines running the non-electrified tracks in eastern Germany, pulling trains weight up to 4000 tons. There was built only 11 of them, but 2 engines are out of service because of fire damage.
