Ever heard of White Day? While Valentine's Day is a romantic day meant for loved ones to express their love for each other, it developed rather differently in Japan. School girls use it to confess a crush, giving homemade chocolates or cookies to a boy they like. Working women feel obligated to give male coworkers cheap chocolates, more expensive chocolates or a gift to their partner, sweets to female friends and for themselves. In return, a month later on White Day men return the gesture ↓
