Otsukimi (viewing the autumn moon) お月見 or Jyugoya (15th day of old lunar calendar, around Sept15)十五夜 seasonal pampas grass and autumn cosmos flowers, a tray of round, white moon-shaped rice dumplings (tsukimi-dango) are placed near a window or veranda with a view of the moon.
